Come One, Come All.... Women!

Click for larger invitation. Any women interested in learning more about or joining, please feel free to RSVP and bring guests.

Join us at Alhambra Hall in Mount Pleasant's beautiful Old Village and take in the most spectacular view of the city!
This event is for all current members, members who wish to renew, and all women who are interested in learning more and becoming members of Women Making a Difference. We hope to surpass our 2007 campaign total of over $118,000, but we need your help! This year's membership campaign ends June 30, 2008. Please arrive with your completed membership form so we can celebrate each new member. We will also have forms available that night. Click here to download the form: [click]

Pay It Forward

My dear friend (and former BOSS-lady, haha) Kenton Morrison recently asked me if I'd like to join the Exec. Committee for Women Making a Difference and I humbly accepted!

If you don't know about WMAD, here's a little taste: "The mission for Women Making a Difference is to build a community of women philanthropists, maintain a permanent endowment fund, and provide grants to institutions and initiatives that advance the well-being of women and children in Charleston."

Their next JOIN event is tomorrow at the Market Pavilion Hotel from 6pm-8:30pm, but the RSVP date has already passed, however, if you're interested you can keep checking their events calendar and attend something, or join.

Check out some images of their 2007 Grant Awards in November of last year on Ida Becker's Charleston Magazine Fete Set photo gallery, here. More that $100,000 was given away at this event!

Pay it forward, like Haley Joel Osment, before he was a criminal... and if he were a woman.
