Going to NYC

Well, I'm going to DC for a couple days, then to New Jersey for a cousin's wedding, but while I'm up there I'm going to hit up Jamali Garden Supplies in NYC for some supplies. I'll document my travels and post as often as I can! Oh, and take some pics of this wedding and the little details.

Flogo my logo

What is a flogo, you ask? Sounds like a floating logo... is a Huntsville, Alabama-based company that developed a way to put your logo in the clouds. Flogos are an environmentally friendly, sort of soapy matter, with a little helium mixed in for lift. Fun!

Head Piece

I stumbled upon Jennifer Behr's hair accessories twice in the past couple of days, so it must be a sign, I'm blogging about them. With a bridal collection, as well as a seasonal collection, she has everything a girl could want (in her hair) !

Hot Topic

Found this "thermo light" made of hundreds (thousands?) of thermometers. This could be used as a really neat tent installation for a Halloween party or something.

After a couple weeks of re-organizing (my liiife!), and doing some, summer, cleaning, I'm back to blogging! This post is about an awesome website I found called

Not only is it chock full of reasonably priced home decor goodies, I've found some great event goods as well. Up top, a set of 5 hand blown glass vases for only $50... scatter these with votives on a long dinner table, or give each guest their own bud vase at each table setting. Just above, a neat looking pendant lamp (a bit like sheets of toilet paper, but whatevs), after seeing so many drum shades, this stands out. And below, VERY unexpected but chic serving tray. I would use this to group candles and vases on in the middle of a table so the graphic isn't overwhelming, but still very interesting!

I Needs a Break!

As you may have noticed, I've been less blogg-y as of late. I'm going to take a week off and come back with some great content. Very busy-- that's a good thing.
